Counselling for Adults in Manchester and Online

Hi, I’m Claire Booth
I'm an accredited counsellor with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I am an experienced person-centred counsellor, working both in person and remotely, to help people achieve good outcomes and positive change.
I have a warm approach and aim for my counselling sessions to feel like a safe and secure space to open up and work through challenges, difficult life events, and mental health concerns.
I have worked in private practice for many years and gained my experience working within the NHS and charity/CIC organisations.
I also work with companies who provide counselling to their employees, including Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs).
I am registered with Bupa, so clients can use their Bupa PMI to work with me. This may expand to include other insurers in the future.
My Counselling Approach
I work at your pace to enable long-term change and improvements in psychological wellbeing.
My goal is to support clients to explore, reflect, and move towards positive change in a way that feels safe and manageable.
I have a lot of experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, offering a safe and affirmative space.
I have also completed specific training in online counselling, ensuring that remote sessions are effective, ethical, and secure.
